Summary of major points:

The ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34 Meeting will be held at the following venue:

This meeting will be held during the week of the
XML Europe 2000 Conference.

Hotel and travel information is enclosed. Please make hotel reservations as soon as possible.

SC34 National Bodies and Liaison Organizations are instructed to provide the SC34 Secretariat with the names of all delegates attending the plenary by 10 May 2000.

In accordance with the eight-weeks rule, all National Body and Liaison Organization contributions to the Plenary must be received by the SC34 Secretariat no later than 22 April 2000. Please note that the SC 34 Secretariat will require any National Body or Liaison Organization that submits contributions after this date to bring sufficient copies to the meeting site.

Also, please note that all additions to the agenda should be requested prior to the meetings in order to ensure that all documentation can be provided to the delegates upon their arrival at the meetings.
