The Liaason category should be changed to C liaiaon from the proposed A liaison, considering the activities of XML Guild.

Netherlands

NEN is against a Category A liaison between JTC 1/SC 34 and the XML Guild because:

Sweden

According to the JTC1 directives (version 3.0), section 3.3.4.1.1, it follows that liaisons require organizations in question to be of significant size and relevance - especially so in case of an international context. XML Guild currently presents only about 20 individuals as members, wherefore Sweden regards such a liaison not to be compatible with existing ISO regulations.
