Trasportation guide

From the airport in Kastrup to the central train station you can take the SAS airport bus, which is direct (one stop), or the HT express bus 250S. The SAS bus may be more comfortable with more room for baggage and it terminates at the central station, it has a separate fare of about DKK 30 and it takes about 20 minutes. The 250S bus may be up to 10 minutes slower (in all 25-27 minutes), but the fare is inclusive in a combined ticket Airport-Snekkersten (9 HT-zones) that you have to pay anyway for the distance from the central station to Snekkersten; be sure to get off at the Central station. From the central station, take the train called København H - Helsingør. The train leaves daily each 20th minute e.g. each 09, 29 and 49. In the rush hours it also leaves each 01, 21 and 41. The travel to Snekkersten station last about 52 minutes (the 12th stop of the train on the rute). In the train there is a map so that it is possible to follow the route. (Please do not get confused about a direct train from the airport to Snekkersten, this line will only open a month after the meeting). Scanticon Borupgaard is situated 150 meters from the station (right opposite).

Tickets are to be bought in the automatic ticket machines at the stations or at the ticket office at the Central Station or at a bus driver. The price depends on the zones your travel is going trough. To get to Snekkersten from Copenhagen Central Station you have to buy a ticket with all zones to the price of DKK 38,50. This price is also good for a combined bus/train journey Airport-Snekkersten with bus 250S and the train (further information can be seen at www.ht.dk - use the "turist" button for information in English).

A taxi from the airport to Snekkersten may be about DKK 700 (USD 100), and my estimate is that it would take about 50 minutes. If you rent a car, I will recommend to use the motorway from the airport, and head towards Helsingør. The speed limit in Denmark on motorways are 110 km/h, in townships 50 km/h.
