In order to reach the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences from the city center or Parma railway station, take Bus 7 or 21, or “Campus Express” when it is operating, to the terminus called “Campus - Università Sud”. It takes around 20 to 30 minutes from the railway station.
Current information and timetables are available on the TEP pages for the university campus and the railway station. The timetable valid in April 2027 has not yet been published and should be checked shortly before travelling.
The Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences is a pale pink building located about 100 meters south of the bus terminus.
Under TEP's current service calendar, daytime urban buses do not operate on May 1. Participants leaving on Saturday, May 1, 2027, should check the 2027 service and be prepared to use a taxi or other transportation.
Wireless internet will be available. Participants with Eduroam access should configure it before travelling; temporary guest credentials can be arranged for other participants. Clerical support, copying, and printing are available on request, but the meeting is intended to be paperless.
Food, drinks and lunches are available from businesses on campus. The Campus Self Service normally opens for weekday lunch; current opening hours should be checked.
Remote participation details will be provided later.
Parma can be reached by train/bus (and, of course, car) from the following airports. Train schedules are available from Trenitalia:
