These reports attempt to concisely communicate X3J3's understanding of and current questions about the technical nature of the various technical reports and other F2000 projects assigned to development bodies other than X3J3. The intent of the liaison reports is to maintain close technical contact with the respective development bodies throughout development, in order to minimize integration problems associated with the eventual incorporation of the material into F2000. Please note that X3J3 has not comprehensively reviewed the technical nature of any of these projects, and therefore the reports must be considered preliminary and tentative. it is hoped, however, that they will nevertheless be useful to the various development bodies and help facilitate successful development of these various technical items. X3J3 will plan on periodically issuing such liaison reports, possibly after each X3J3 meeting.
