Subject: ISO/IES directives forbid Corr:3 ?

In the ISO/IEC DIRECTIVES, PART 1 (Procedures for the technical work) at

  http://www.iso.ch/dire/directives.html

these is a clause

"2.10.3 Avoidance of proliferation of modifications

No more than two separate documents in the form of technical corrigenda
or amendments shall be published modifying a current International
Standard. The development of a third such document shall result in
publication of a new edition of the International Standard."

How does this relate to WG5's plan to publish a third corrigendum to
Fortran 90? Is it possible at all to publish Corr:3?

Regards,
Michael
