I have just received my papers making up the WG5 document distribution. Quite a
lot of this is the printing of email, some of it mine. I would like to suggest
that some of this at least is not fit for paper copying. Email is frequently a
form of "thinking allowed". What is contained is often not the result of long
and careful deliberation but part of an exchange aimed at helping the group to
formulate ideas.
I would like to suggest that in the future we do not include such exchanges in
the formal document distribution. Any email item that is intended as a formal
document to WG5 should be so marked even if sent by email (which most should).
The convenor should only give email docs a formal number and include them in the
distribution if explicitly requested to do so. This will rescue a few temporate
rain forests.

Miles, I am sorry I thought I had indicated that I had managed to print the
draft F95 doc albeit with some difficulty (The lack of US adherence to ISO paper
size standards(;-)). However the copy NAG sent me will go to a good home!
