I am sorry I didn't make this clear.  Their logic was that they should
get the same amount of money for electronic copies as for paper copies
(even though there are no production costs and even though they would
sell thousands of copies).

The really strange thing is that the agreement ISO already signed with
me allows me to sell electronic copies at $125 each, so I could have
made that deal without any further approval from them!  Of course,
$125 was also way too high.
