In Brno, you can choose from several basic tickets depending on the length of your journey. The shortest and cheapest is a 15-minute ticket for 20 CZK, 60-minute ticket costs 25 CZK. You can buy your ticket from vending machines at bus and tram stops. Make sure to validate your ticket after entering the vehicle.
You can use your contactless bank card as a ticket and every time you board or leave the vehicle, just tap the reader at the validator (cards on mobile phones work too.) There is a large parking lot on the street in front of the university. Parking there is free during the day 6am to 5pm. Otherwise it costs 30 CZK for each hour and you need to register your car plate and pay at the web app.
