    Hotel and Travel

Beaverton, is located about 8 miles west of Portland.
There is easy access from the Portland International Airport.
(currently there is major construction at the airport.)

A rental car is probably essential in traveling to and from the
Cornell Oaks campus. The campus is unfortunately not within easy
access of public transportation. The west side light rail is now
operating, so that can be used to easily explore downtown Portland.

There is one hotel very near the meeting room, walking distance
     if the weather is good.

Fairfield Inn (Marriott) Intel RATE: $62
          15583 N.W. Gateway Ct. w/ Continental breakfast
          Beaverton, OR 97006
          PH 503/972-0048
             800/228-2800
          FX 503/972-0049

There are some other hotels are available nearby, see your
local/company travel agent. Another option is to stay in
downtown Portland and drive or take the light rail and bus
     transfer to the meeting.
