The result is positive, and hence the document is approved! Congratulations to all involved, especially to the Project Editor. The result, as listed in the document is: 14 P-members approved the document (Belgium, China, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, (South) Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom), as well as 4 O-members (Egypt, Russia, Spain and Ukraine). All the other (JTC1) NBs abstained or did not vote. However, the document also includes the comments from Japan, stating that Japan does not approve the FDIS for a number of very minor errors identified. So, clearly there is a problem in the official table. As the SC22 document states: "The NB comments are appended for information and possible use in subsequent revisions or amendments." The full SC22 document (a 500 Kb .pdf file) is available from the restricted SC22 website (http://www.dkuug.dk/jtc1/sc22/def/n3237.pdf) or on request. - Willem Wakker. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Willem Wakker email: cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc ACE Consulting bv tel: +31 20 664 6416 Van Eeghenstraat 100 fax: +31 20 675 0389 1071 GL Amsterdam, The Netherlands www: http://www.ace.nl eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
